This company started as a partnership under the name of "United Electrical & Air-conditioning" servicing and installing air conditioners until it was subsequently converted into a Private Limited Company in 1976. 1994 saw the incorporation of UEA Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd as the marketing arm and 100% owned subsidiary of UEA Engineering Sdn. Bhd.
